Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
This policy explains what information LeadsSnapper collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers both your account details and the contact data you upload.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, name if you provide one, workspace and team membership, plan, and sign-in method.
- Uploaded images — the screenshots and business-card photos you upload, plus a checksum used to detect duplicates.
- Extracted contact data — names, email addresses, phone numbers, company, job title, website, address, social links, notes, and tags captured from your uploads or entered by you.
- Usage data — scan counts, processing results, timestamps, and error logs needed to meter plans and troubleshoot problems.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor. We receive subscription status, not your full card details.
How we use it
- To run the extraction pipeline and show you the resulting contacts.
- To send contacts to the CRM or automation tool you connect, on your instruction.
- To meter usage against your plan and process subscription billing.
- To send account emails such as sign-in, password reset, and welcome messages.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your uploaded contacts for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to operate LeadsSnapper: hosting and database, authentication, an AI/OCR provider to read your uploads, email delivery, and payment processing. They process data on our behalf and only to deliver their part of the service. Any CRM or automation tool you connect yourself receives the contact fields you configure.
Data separation and access
Contacts, uploads, and usage records are scoped to your workspace, so members of other workspaces cannot see them. Within your workspace, teammates you invite can view and manage data according to their role. Credentials you store for CRM connections are encrypted.
Retention
We keep your contacts and uploads for as long as your account is active, or until you delete them. Deleting a contact or a failed screenshot in the app removes it from your workspace. When you delete your account, its workspace data is removed from the live service. We may keep limited billing records where law requires it.
Your choices
- Access and edit your contacts and account details in the app at any time.
- Export your contacts to CSV or Excel from the contacts screen.
- Delete individual contacts, screenshots, or your whole account.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, correction, or deletion by contacting us — depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Data you upload about other people
When you upload screenshots or business cards, you are uploading other people's personal information. You are the controller of that data and are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use it, and for honouring any request those people make to you. We act as your processor for that data.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls that scope records to your workspace. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.
Children
LeadsSnapper is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
